Abstract

|
Congenital constriction band is a rare abnormality occurring in 1 cut of 5, 000-10, 000 infants.
It´s exact etiologic pathogenesis is still unknown.
The authors carried out staged Z-plasty procedure in 2 years old boy-who associated with acrcsyndactyly, calcaneovalgus deformity combined with congenital constriction band on the left leg, and also in 4months old male infant who had congenital constriction band on the right proximal arm, respectively.
Satisfactory results were obtained in both cases after minimum 1 year follow up.
